About the institute

Built to close the gap between certificates and competent people.

IHSE Academy was established because too many safety officers and security supervisors arrived on site with a paper qualification and little practice. Plants still had fires. Scaffolders still skipped harness checks. Guard posts still lost shift discipline after midnight.

The campus exists to train people who can run a toolbox talk, isolate energy, lead an evacuation, and write an incident report that stands up in an audit.

Mission

To prepare safety, health, environment, and security professionals who reduce harm at work and protect people, assets, and operations.

Vision

Workplaces across India where trained competence—not luck—is the default control.

Why we were established

Industrial growth outpaced the supply of instructors who had actually closed a permit, fought a mock fire, or managed a crowd during an emergency. We started as a small fire-and-safety classroom and grew into a full institute covering HSE, construction safety, and security management.

How we train

1. Diagnose the role

Safety officer, fire warden, HSE coordinator, or security supervisor—syllabus follows the job, not a generic brochure.

2. Teach the standard

Legal duties, ISO-aligned HSE systems, NFPA-informed fire modules, and security standing orders.

3. Practise under pressure

Timed drills, incomplete information, and after-action reviews so people do not freeze on a live site.

4. Assess and certify

Written papers plus practical stations. Certificates are issued only after both are cleared.

Instructors

Faculty are drawn from manufacturing HSE, construction safety, industrial fire services, and private security operations. Guest assessors from client companies join diploma viva boards.

Industry relevance

Case studies come from chemical leaks, hot-work incidents, tower-crane near misses, hospital fire loads, and night-shift security failures. Learners leave knowing the language of plant managers and principal contractors.
